Aaron Rodgers

No doubt one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the sport, it appears Aaron Rodger’s time in Green Bay is coming to an end. No doubt a rocky relationship at times, the Packers appear to be giving former first-round selection Jordan Love his chance to be the starter.

If made available via trade, Rodgers will likely command multiple first-round picks in return. At 39 years old, that is certainly a lot to give up but for the right team, it would be well worth it. After all, he won back-to-back MVPs just a year ago. With 3,695 passing yards and 26 touchdowns last season, the former Super Bowl champion may still have enough in the tank.

If the Raiders were to trade for Rodgers, they would almost certainly be giving away the seventh-overall pick and their first-rounder in 2024. However, this would give them the chance to pair Rodgers with Davante Adams once again. In their time together in Green Bay, Adams recorded 8,121 receiving yards on 669 receptions and 73 touchdowns.

Obviously swinging a trade for Rodgers would be a franchise-changing move that would cost the Raiders lots of valuable resources. Still, it would also be a move that proves the new regime is serious about winning and wants to do so immediately. For Raiders fans, that is something they can all rally behind.
