The Las Vegas Raiders may be moving on to plan B at QB after Tom Brady retired, in this latest mock draft they get their QB of the future at pick 7 and plenty of other help as well.
The Las Vegas Raiders and Tom Brady seemed destined for a union this offseason. The whispers were growing louder as pundits pointed out Brady’s relationship with Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler as well as his desire to play in a big market.
What they didn’t account for was Brady’s desire to hang up his cleats for good and that’s precisely what he did.
So with Tom Brady no longer an option for the Raiders, they will have to turn to other solutions at QB and in this latest mock draft they do just that. The Silver and Black get a dynamic young QB with pick number seven and then go on to build up their defense and offensive line to make life a little easier for their signal caller.
It is likely that the Raiders also bring in a bridge QB to make the transition easier for this youngster and the hope is they do so soon before all the good veteran options are snatched up. They should hope that some of those more expensive veteran options, aka Derek Carr, are picked up by a team drafting ahead of them so they get their guy.
