The Las Vegas Raiders likely won’t pick an offensive lineman with their first-round pick in 2023, but there should be some Day 1 starters waiting on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

As we inch closer to the Super Bowl, the Las Vegas Raiders as a franchise have already turned the page on a terrible 2022 NFL season. After winning only six games, changes are coming in a big way in terms of the Silver and Black, and the 2023 NFL Draft will be one where David Ziegler can add potential Day 1 starters on both Day 1 and Day 2.

Here, we look at five offensive linemen that could be available on Day 2, and who could start right away in Las Vegas.

Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State

One player who could fall to the second round, though he is getting first-round buzz after a strong showing at the Senior Bowl, is Dawand Jones from Ohio State. A teammate of 2022 seventh-round pick Thayer Munford Jr. with the Buckeyes, Jones has the size and athleticism that would make him the team’s starting right tackle on Day 1.

Jones stands 6-foot-8 inches tall but has the explosiveness to come out of his stance and really get into a defensive end’s chest. The NFL Combine is going to make or break his status as a Day 1 pick, but with Las Vegas holding the seventh pick on Day 2, Jones falling out of the first round could land him right into the Raiders’ lap.
