2023 NFL Draft: Day 2 offensive linemen the Raiders should target

O’Cyrus Torrence, IOL, Florida

A transfer from Louisiana, O’Cyrus Torrence spent only one season with the Florida Gators and would go on to become the first interior offensive lineman to ever be a consensus first-team All-American for the school. Torrence dominated the SEC landscape thanks to his incredible wingspan and brutal force, and at 23 years old, is ready to step into the NFL game and dominate.

Torrence would be an excellent addition for the Raiders, this after Las Vegas found a starting offensive guard on Day 2 in the 2022 NFL Draft, landing Dylan Parham. That would be a dangerous, young offensive guard tandem to control the inside for years to come for the Silver and Black.

Steve Avila, IOL, TCU

We finish out with Steve Avila from TCU, who is the kind of versatile offensive line prospect that would be an absolute steal on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft. During his time at TCU, Avila not only became the first Horned Frog to be named a consensus All-American since wide receiver Josh Doctson in 2015, but he played tackle, guard, and even a season at center.

2023 NFL 1st Round Mock Draft: Raiders get a gift at No. 7 overall

The Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and in our first 2023 Round 1 mock, they are gifted a talented player.

Andre James’s contract for 2023 is a worrisome one, and the team could save $5 million in cap space if they decide to move on from him. Avila could come in and be the replacement for James at center, and even if they keep James around, would be a Day 1 starter opposite Dylan Parham at offensive guard if need be.
