Raiders 2023 7-round NFL Mock Draft: What if Aaron Rodgers arrives?

. Offensive Tackle. Bulldogs . Dontae Bull. 215. player. 897

We continue our strengthening of the trenches by grabbing offensive tackle Dontae Bull out of Fresno State with the 215th overall pick. The British Columbia native is a 5th-year senior who has played well over 2000 snaps and 41 games at the college level.

Bull measures in at an impressive 6-7 and 320 pounds so he has the physical build that you look for in an elite offensive tackle. It will be interesting to see his performance at the combine but he looks to be incredibly strong and agile at that size though his 40 time of 5.34 is on the lower end.

Just like Steve Avila, Bull has a mean streak and nastiness to his game that should help improve the toughness of the Raiders’ offensive line. Scouts describe him as playing with “tremendous physicality” in the run game though he will need to improve his pass protection.

This is a common theme with these young offensive linemen as many of them have the right mentality and physical traits but need to refine their technique in holding off talented pass rushers. There are some concerns about the learning curve it will take for him to be a regular starter but at this point in the draft we are willing to accept a project player and depth piece.
