2023 Full first-round NFL Mock Draft: Raiders stay put at No. 7 overall

. Offensive Tackle. Las Vegas Raiders. Paris Johnson Jr.. 7. player. 28

After the first six selections in the 2023 NFL Draft, it will be time for general manager David Ziegler to make the first Day 1 pick of his short career. Last year, Las Vegas did not pick until the third round due to the Davante Adams trade, so that makes this the most important draft pick Ziegler has had to make.

Many fans of the Raiders will pine for the team to take Will Levis here if he is still available, but if Aaron Rodgers arrives in Las Vegas, they can wait until a packed 2024 quarterback class to get his replacement. Instead, they shore up the right tackle spot for the long haul, adding Paris Johnson Jr. to team with Kolton Miller at the two tackle spots.

The Raiders have a real issue when it comes to the offensive line, and after neglecting it last off-season, I am sure Ziegler will make it a priority this off-season. Johnson is widely considered the best offensive line prospect in this draft class, and he fixes one of the biggest issues on this Raiders roster immediately.
