2023 Full first-round NFL Mock Draft: Raiders stay put at No. 7 overall
The New Orleans Saints appear to be the front-runner to sign Derek Carr, but that does not mean they should pass on Anthony Richardson here. Carr is a perfect bridge quarterback if the Saints love what AR-15 brings to the table, and at No. 30 overall, he may be too good to pass on.
The Kansas City Chiefs are once again playing in the Super Bowl, and there is a really good chance Patrick Mahomes wins his second ring. Next offseason, they are going to have to make some hard decisions in terms of their roster, and Nolan Smith is a first-round linebacker that could give them some flexibility to move on from some other veterans.
The Philadelphia Eagles go with a running back to close the first round, bringing in the versatile Jahmyr Gibbs from Alabama. Gibbs can play running back, factor into the passing game, and also return punts and kicks, making him a very valuable addition here with pick No. 32 overall.
So there you have it, based on our latest mock draft, the Raiders stay put at No. 7, and the Kansas City Chiefs lose in the Super Bowl. Of course, things are going to change in a big way as we inch closer to the draft, but continue to check back in as we take more looks at the potential first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
