2023 Full first-round NFL Mock Draft: Raiders stay put at No. 7 overall

The Houston Texans are ushering in a new era of football this season, after signing former star linebacker Demeco Ryans to be their new head coach. With the first selection of the Ryan regime, the Texans bring in a franchise quarterback, adding CJ Stroud from Ohio State, a player many feel is the unquestioned No. 1 quarterback prospect in this draft class.

The Arizona Cardinals are still in the process of finding their next head coach, and some reports suggest that potential suitors are refusing to go there due to Kyler Murray. However, Murray is a talented quarterback, and once he gets healthy, he should be a consistent playmaker for whoever takes the helm of the franchise.

At pick No. 3, the Cardinals focus on the other side of the ball, bringing in Jalen Carter from Georgia. Carter is considered a can’t miss prospect, and the Cardinals certainly need to revamp their defense this offseason.
