Las Vegas Raiders: Pending free agents playing in Super Bowl LVII to target

Kansas City Chiefs

Juan Thornhill, Safety

As is the case every offseason, the defensive backfield will likely see an overhaul, as the team struggled in a big way against the pass again in 2022. One area that could see an influx of talent is safety, as Trevon Moehrig struggled in Year 2 at the NFL level, and questions surround if he is a long-term solution at one of the safety spots.

One bright spot last year was Duron Harmon, but as he is a pending free agent this offseason, he could be moved. Juan Thornhill is a safety that could come in and start right away for the Silver and Black, bringing a Super Bowl-winning pedigree from the hated division rival Chiefs.

Andrew Wylie, Offenisve Tackle

A player who really improved his stock this season was Andrew Wylie, who would be a perfect addition to the Raiders’ offensive line. They need help on the right side, and Wylie absolutely dominated against one of the best pass rushes in the game during Super Bowl LVII, not allowing a sack.

Wylie started all 17 games for the Chiefs this past season and is just entering his prime in terms of his position group. The Chiefs are likely to swing hard to get him back, but Las Vegas needs to at least be a player for his services this offseason.
