Las Vegas Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Super Bowl LVII edition
The Las Vegas Raiders have released quarterback Derek Carr and move into 2023 with a clean slate, with that in mind let’s jump into the next mock draft.
The Las Vegas Raiders and Raider nation had a difficult week. They had to watch hated division rival Kansas City lift their second Super Bowl trophy in three years and moved on from their franchise-leading quarterback Derek Carr.
some segments of the fanbase celebrated the latter move as they are ready for a change at the quarterback position while others lamented the fact that the Raiders have a massive hole at the most important position on the team. There is some momentum building as to who Carr’s replacement will be and for now, we will continue to operate under the assumption that a veteran quarterback will be brought in.
We will see if it turns out to be Aaron Rodgers after his darkness retreat, Jacoby Brissett as a stopgap, Jimmy Garoppolo fresh off yet another injury, or perhaps a more familiar face in Jarrett Stidham that ends up being the week one starter. Regardless of who the quarterback is, the Raiders will need to overhaul their defense if they hope to be competitive in 2023 and that is the focus of this mock draft.
Now that the Super Bowl is over the 2023 offseason has officially begun and we present to you another mock draft.
