Las Vegas Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Super Bowl LVII edition

143. Nick Broeker OG Ole Miss

We take a break from building the defense to beefing up the offensive line with the selection of Nick Broeker out of Ole Miss. The Illinois native is a versatile offensive lineman that has great athleticism for his size and position as he is listed at 6-5 and 305 lbs.

Broeker played left tackle for his first three years at Ole Miss before switching over to left guard in 2022 and that appears to be his natural position. He is a bit light for a guard at 305 pounds but he ran a 4.90 40-yard dash so he has the athleticism to block defenders out in space.

The Raiders will probably ask him to bulk up if they want to keep him inside and he will want to do so without compromising his athleticism.

Scouts give him great ratings for his awareness, agility, and his nasty approach to run blocking. He is a tremendously experienced player as well with well over 3000 snaps over his career for the Rebels. His other physical traits including arm length and wingspan also project him as more of an interior offensive lineman and he was exposed a bit when playing outside against speed rushers.

The Raiders will definitely play him on the interior if they select him though his experience at tackle is a bonus if there is a need for him to step up in place of an injured player. The Raiders already had this luxury in Jermaine Eluemunor and having another guy like that on the roster is always a plus.
