Las Vegas Raiders: 4 ex-Raiders the team should bring back in 2023

Nicholas Morrow

Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of Greenville, Nicholas Morrow quickly became a fixture on the Raiders’ defense. Last season, Morrow started every game for the Chicago Bears where he recorded 116 tackles and an interception. In his time with the Raiders, he had 254 tackles, two interceptions, and four sacks.

Of course, Morrow has never been an elite player in his time in the NFL. However, his reliability is needed on a defense that is lacking, not just in talent, but just players in general. If the team chooses not to bring back Denzel Perryman in 2023, Morrow is a likely starter for a unit that currently has just Divine Deablo as a worthwhile player at the position.

Once again, the free-agent linebacker class is weak which will only help Morrow as he looks to prove his worth as a 27-year-old who would almost certainly be a starter on a Las Vegas team who needs all the help it can get on defense.
