Las Vegas Raiders: Top-25 players of the Derek Carr Era

No. 12: Hunter Renfrow, WR (2019-present)

During his time at Clemson, wide receiver Hunter Renfrow won two national titles and showed his clutch gene more times than not for the Tigers. In fact, Renfrow hauled in the game-winning touchdown against Alabama in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, catching a pass from Deshaun Watson with one second left on the clock.

Despite his success, Renfrow fell to the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, mostly due to his size, as he is only 5-foot-10, and weighs less than 190 pounds. However, that has not hindered him at all at the next level, as he has become one of the best slot wideouts in the NFL, and a real security blanket for Carr.

Renfrow proved himself to be a big-time target for Derek Carr in his first two seasons, before breaking out in a 2021 campaign that saw him haul in 103 passes, the third-most ever in a season by a Raiders player. He battled injuries during 2022 and did not play up to his standards, but there is no doubt that he was a steal on Day 3, and turned into one of the best players Derek Carr had during his tenure.
