Las Vegas Raiders: Top-25 players of the Derek Carr Era

No. 21: Gabe Jackson, OG (2014-2020)

To say that Reggie McKenzie hit a home run early in the 2014 NFL Draft would be an understatement, as he nailed the first three rounds. That haul brought Khalil Mack and Derek Carr in the first and second rounds, and in the third round, McKenzie would bolster the offensive line with Gabe Jackson from Mississippi State.

Jackson would go on to appear in 100 games for the Silver and Black from 2014 through the 2020 NFL season, making 99 starts, while helping solidify the Raiders’ offensive line. The three-headed monster in the interior of him, Kelechi Osemele, and Rodney Hudson were one of the best in football, and they were key in the Raiders making it to the playoffs in 2016.

During his time with the Raiders, Jackson was one of the more durable offensive guards in the NFL, and he was named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2018. Jackson played at least 96% of the Raiders’ offensive snaps in six of his seven seasons with the franchise, and never played below 93% of snaps total.
