Las Vegas Raiders: Top-25 players of the Derek Carr Era
No. 4: Charles Woodson, DB (1998-2005, 2013-2015)
Looking back on the history of the Raiders franchise, few names stand about former defensive back, Charles Woodson. Fresh off winning the Heisman Trophy, Woodson was a first-round pick of the Raiders in a loaded 1998 NFL Draft and would go on to become one of the best players in NFL history.
His first run with the Raiders came from 1998 through 2005, and he would go on to win a Super Bowl in Green Bay. However, he returned to the Silver and Black in 2013, and though he was later in his career, he was still an impact player, and actually was named second-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowl player in his final season in the NFL in 2015.
The three-year run with the franchise not only brought some incredible memories but cemented Woodson’s place as an all-time Raider. In the end, he will likely be the best player to ever play alongside Derek Carr, and had they played together in Woodson’s prime, he would likely be the No. 1 player on this list.
