Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: QB, 2024 first-round pick, and more
Not quite Mr. Irrelevant but very close to that pick, the Raiders use the 259th overall selection on lineman McClendon Curtis out of Tennessee Chattanooga. The massive offensive lineman has an incredible physical profile as he measures in at 6-6 and 331 pounds and runs a 5.15 second forty.
Curtis has an incredible 84-inch wingspan that puts him in the top 1% at his position and is one of Bruce Feldman’s freaks because of his incredible strength and athleticism. Feldman reported that Curtis deadlifts close to 800 pounds and his body fat hovers around 20%.
Most scouts project him as a right tackle or perhaps even a guard and he is precisely the type of player that you gamble on this late in the draft. The Raiders could draft him here and develop him from a raw physical prospect to starting offensive linemen in a few years.
