Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: QB, 2024 first-round pick, and more

Keeanu Benton. 101. player. 809. . Defensive Tackle. Badgers

With the 101st overall pick, we go back to the defensive side of the ball and add a run-stuffing defensive tackle in Keeanu Benton out of Wisconsin. The 6-4 and 312 pounds senior is known for being incredibly strong and plays with great leverage and pad level which makes him perfect for absorbing double teams.

He is precisely the type of player you want in the middle of your defensive line as he can wreak havoc on the interior while still generating a pass rush as evidenced by his six sacks in 12 games last year. Benton had a great senior bowl and is moving up draft boards as a result but we are luckily able to grab him at the tail end of the third round.

The Las Vegas Raiders had a revolving door at the defensive tackle spot this past season, and Benton would be a plug-and-play prospect for Patrick Graham’s defense. Graham needs a strong 2023 season to stay on as defensive coordinator, and this early defensive haul should help him do just that.
