Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: QB, 2024 first-round pick, and more

Boilermakers . Jalen Graham. 155. player. 848. . Safety/LB

Jalen Graham is another one of those guys that or tweener linebacker and safety hybrids though his measurements project him as a linebacker long-term. Graham measures in at 6-3 and 224 pounds which is quite big for a safety and he also ran a 4.68 40-yard dash, which is incredibly slow for a defensive back, but solid for a linebacker.

The Raiders have had mixed success with these linebacker safety hybrids but having a linebacker that can cover is a much-coveted skill set that Graham brings to the table. We can see him as a weakside linebacker at the next level and he can contribute right away on special teams.

When it comes to the Raiders’ defense in 2023, changes will be made on all three levels, and Graham is the kind of Swiss Army knife that could prove to be extremely useful. He can play all over the field, and while he could be a project, he has the size you need for the next level.
