No. 2: Larry Brown, Cornerback (5yr-$12.5M)

The Raiders franchise under Al Davis loved to bring in players fresh off being named a Super Bowl MVP. We saw it at No. 3 overall with Desmond Howard, and at No. 2, we turn our attention to the defensive side of the ball, and cornerback Larry Brown, who shined for the Dallas Cowboys.

Brown was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXX, as his two second-half interceptions helped thwart a comeback attempt by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran cornerback signed with the Raiders immediately following the Super Bowl, and it did not take long for the franchise to realize what a mistake signing him was.

He was benched in his first season with the team, and between his poor play, and his poor attitude, made only 12 appearances in the Silver and Black. Brown made only one start with the Raiders, nabbed one interception, and was gone by 1998, when he closed his NFL career out with a four-game stint back with the Cowboys.
