Las Vegas Raiders 2023 7-round NFL Mock Draft: Combine Week edition

190. Jerome Carvin OG Tennessee

We stick with the offensive side of the ball by adding a big body to the offensive line in guard Jerome Carvin out of Tennessee. Carvin is a big body at 6-5 and 308lbs and he has the size and strength that Josh McDaniels looks for out of his interior offensive lineman.

The Memphis native ran a 5.3 second 40 which is the middle of the pack for his position but he has a wingspan in the 93rd percentile and shows great strength at the point of attack. He is not an elite athlete but has good agility and has just enough speed to get out in space and make blocks in the run game and screen game.

Carvin could stand to add some more mass to his frame if he wants to play on the interior but he could also slide out to right tackle in a pinch. We’ve talked many times in our mock drafts about the need for positional versatility when it comes to some of these late-round picks and carbon offers just that.

He played all along the offensive line for the Volunteers including all three of the interior positions adding incredible versatility to whatever team gets him this April.
