Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Scouting Combine Edition
38. Siaki Ika DT Baylor
If the Raiders are looking for a difference-maker on the interior of their defense then look no further than Siaki Ika out of Baylor. The stout defensive lineman is built low to the ground at 6-2 and 335lbs is strong as an ox and can be a massive difference maker as a three-technique or nose.
The Utah native spent the first two years of his college career at LSU before transferring to Baylor and becoming a major part of the Bears’ defense. He didn’t record much in terms of raw statistics which is expected for this type of player though he did have an impressive six sacks his Junior year.
Ika is the type of defensive tackle that will attract a double team and can wreck a running game with his size and strength. He plays with a high motor and will always give 100% effort on every play and that alone will make him a potential immediate contributor to the defense.
