Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Scouting Combine Edition
235. Viliami Fehoko EDGE San Jose State
We wrap up this Mock Draft by grabbing an edge rusher from a school about 40 miles from where the Raiders used to play in Oakland in Viliami Fehoko out of San Jose State. Fehoko is a slightly undersized edge rusher at 6-3 and 276 lbs but he is a guy that plays with a high motor and brings lots of energy to the position.
He had 20 sacks over his last two seasons and though it was against lesser competition, that type of production is hard to ignore. Fehoko has great instincts and is described as a savvy and versatile edge rusher who is very effective at getting to the quarterback and bringing him down.
2023 Full first-round NFL Mock Draft: Raiders stay put at No. 7 overall
The 2023 NFL Draft is two months away, and for the Las Vegas Raiders, figuring out whether to stay at No. 7 overall, or move out, is priority No. 1.
One of my key philosophies is that you can never have enough defensive linemen and a player like Fehoko is smart and versatile enough to make himself useful as soon as he gets to town. We can see him play immediately as a rotational pass rusher and he can make an immediate impact on special teams.
