Where can the Las Vegas Raiders find more help for their receiver and offensive line units?

This past weekend, the Arizona Cardinals sent Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans. If the Las Vegas Raiders want a wide receiver who can contribute on Sundays, they should make a move well before the November 10 trade deadline.

Without Jack Bech, who's on injured reserve, or Jalen Nailor (concussion protocol), Cody White served as the No. 2 wide receiver in Week 5 against the New England Patriots. He caught two passes for 44 yards.

Nailor has been an underwhelming free-agent addition, logging just five catches for 52 yards. So, even if he returns this week, the Raiders should bring in a receiver who could complement tight end Brock Bowers in the passing game. They did sign former Cleveland Brown Jamari Thrash to the practice squad on Monday, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Raiders' Week 6 scouting report highlights under-the-radar wide receiver options and a young left guard

Trade: WR Darnell Mooney, New York Giants

New York Giants backup quarterback Jameis Winston and wideout Darnell Mooney aren't in sync. In Week 5, Mooney hauled in just two of his seven targets for 14 yards. On the sideline, he and Winston tried to iron out wrinkles in their connection.

At best, Mooney is the third option in the Giants' aerial attack behind wideout Malik Nabers and tight end Isaiah Likely. Rookie third-rounder Malachi Fields could also surpass him in the pecking order.

Mooney has a rapport with Kirk Cousins from their time with the Atlanta Falcons between 2024 and 2025. He caught 64 passes for 992 yards and five touchdowns in the first of those two years. Cousins started in 22 out of 24 games in that span.

The Raiders could reunite Cousins and Mooney to spark their passing attack.

Signing: WR Bub Means, Cleveland Browns' practice squad

Way under the radar, Bub Means is on the Cleveland Browns' practice squad. He hasn't suited up for a regular-season game since 2024. That year, the 25-year-old from Las Vegas played in Klint Kubiak's offense, hauling in nine of 15 targets for 118 yards and a touchdown.

This isn't a splashy signing, but Means knows Kubiak's system, and he's a big 6-2, 215-pound target who can make big plays. The Raiders could consider him if Nailor isn't ready to return right away, or if Bech remains out beyond the minimum four weeks on injured reserve.

Trade: LG Zak Zinter, Cleveland Browns

According to Pro Football Focus, Spencer Burford has allowed the most pressures on the team with 18. Because of his pass-protection issues, Kubiak may consider a change at left guard.

Among in-house fill-in options, Bryce Cabeldue has played under Kubiak in Seattle. The coaching staff could also experiment with playing second-year guard Caleb Rogers on the left side or inserting rookie third-rounder Trey Zuhn III into the lineup when he recovers from a knee injury.

Outside the current roster, general manager John Spytek could inquire about Zak Zinter's availability. He's a 2024 third-round pick out of Michigan who has only started in three career games.

Unlikely to unseat starting left guard Zion Johnson, who signed a three-year, $49.5 million deal with the Browns this past offseason, Zinter may have a chance to play in Las Vegas.
