The Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and here are three players that would be a best-case scenario for them.
The 2023 NFL Draft is less than a week away, and unlike last year, when the Las Vegas Raiders did not draft until the third round, the Silver and Black hold significant draft capital. The first selection, if everything stays the same, will be at No. 7 overall, a draft slot that should net the team a potential cornerstone player.
Now, we all know about the Raiders recent struggles in the first round, but this is a new regime, and Dave Ziegler will be making his first Day 1 pick as general manager of the franchise. He had a very average draft last year, bringing in a starter in Dylan Parham, and not much else, but the kind of draft capital he has this year could make-or-break his tenure.
Not only do the Raiders hold the No. 7 overall pick, but they also have four top-100 selections, and the No. 109 overall pick as well. Those five selections could go a long way in improving this roster for the long-haul, but it all starts on Day 1, and Ziegler cannot afford to miss with that selection.
Here, we look at three players that would be a best-case scenario for the Silver and Black at No. 7 overall.
