The 2024 offseason is upon us, and for the Las Vegas Raiders, hope springs eternal with a new general manager at the helm. Tom Telesco won the job over numerous candidates this offseason, and with a strong roster in place, as well as solid draft capital, the hope is that he can keep moving the franchise forward.

While the 2023 season ended like most in recent memory, with the Raiders failing to make the playoffs, there is reason to believe they are pointed in the right direction. They won five of nine to close the season, and head coach Antonio Pierce had the team playing inspired football down the stretch.

This offseason, the plan is to continue to stock the roster with talent, and guys who play the Raider Way. In order to finally become a perennial playoff contender, Telesco and his staff have to avoid these three mistakes.

If he can do that, the Raiders have a good chance to shock some people next season.
