Raiders 3-round NFL Mock Draft: Stockpiling The Defense

Plugging in Murphy certainly makes the Raiders defense a formidable force inside, but what about the boundary? The fact is, Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs need help—this is where Khyree Jackson comes in.

The Pac-12's No. 2 leader in interceptions (three total) would fit nicely in Graham's defense. From a physical standpoint, Jackson stands at six-foot-three and weighs in nearly 200 pounds. If you add in his frame combined with notable speed and explosiveness, the Raiders could have themselves someone special.

There are certainly some concerns with Jackson's game, namely his inability to read opposing receivers—he'll get burned by them due to being unable to anticipate the route. At the same time, his tackling and coverage are nothing to scoff at; he'll wrap and swarm receivers, as his lanky frame aids in that.

If Jackson's there in the second round, you don't pass on this potential.
