1. Tyree Wilson

We end this piece with the player that the Raiders took with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. After being selected, the hope was that Wilson would be an excellent complement to Maxx Crosby coming off the edge, but he did his best work after being kicked inside at defensive tackle.

Going into Year 2, the plan for Wilson has to be improving not only in the middle, but also coming off the edge. The last thing he wants to accomplish is being another bad first-round selection by the Raiders, but he has more than enough potential to shake any kind of 'bust' label.

Wilson is in a great spot heading into Year 2, as newcomer Christian Wilkins has stated that he plans to put him under his wing and help him with his development. If he can become another key piece to the Raiders defensive line, then the Silver and Black could have the best group up front on that side of the ball in football.
