2. Filled immediate needs on the roster

Las Vegas went into the 2024 NFL Draft with two big needs, offensive tackle and cornerback, and Telesco did a nice job in filling both of them. Telesco added Delmar Glaze in the third round of the draft, and while he may not come in and start right away, he played both right and left tackle for the University of Maryland.

Glaze was one of the highest-rated pass protectors in this year's draft, and will either start at right tackle, or possibly be the swing tackle as a rookie. He gives the Raiders more depth and versatility at the position group, and should earn significant playing time in Year 1.

At cornerback, the arrivals of Decamerion Richardson and MJ Devonshire gives the Raiders much more depth at the thinnest position going into the draft. Richardson is going to be a solid pro, as he is excellent in coverage, has great speed, and is a sure tackler.

Las Vegas may have not addressed the quarterback position in the draft, the biggest storyline going in, but they filled some immediate needs in a big way this draft cycle.
