Raiders rumors: 3 QBs Las Vegas could target in free agency in 2025
By Brad Weiss
Jared Goff
While some view Jared Goff as a game manager, the truth is, he has been a pretty successful quarterback everywhere he has been. He led the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl, and with the Detroit Lions, has helped take them from the cellar of the NFC North to a possible contender in the conference.
Goff is your typical pocket-passer, something some Raiders fans are hoping to avoid after a near-decade with Derek Carr under center. He is expected to receive a monster contract from the Lions, this after leading them to their first NFC North title since 1993, and it could get up to $50 million per year per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Detroit would not be wise to move on from Goff, as he is still pretty young, and has taken them to the brink of a possible Super Bowl berth. Like Love and Tagovailoa, if Goff does some how hit free agency this offseason, I could see Tom Telesco and his staff being a player for his services.
