A Week 8 win over the New York Jets has rejuvenated Las Vegas Raiders fans and their playoff hopes. But with the trade deadline just around the corner and a tough Week 9 matchup on the horizonagainst a very good San Francisco 49ers team, those in the building are incredibly hard at work.
And so are we.
But we also have the bandwidth to zoom out and look at the big picture. So, with half of the year's 17-game slate now done, let's take a look ahead and see what the back half of the calendar has in store for the Silver and Black. And let's predict each of the remaining nine games on the schedule.
Predicting all 9 of the Raiders' remaining games in 2026
Week 9 @ 49ers
Unfortunately, the Raiders' defense has pretty much no hope of stopping the 49ers' offense. But Klint Kubiak has worked miracles in Las Vegas this year, so his unit should be able to at least put up a fight. Ultimately, San Francisco is the better team, but it'll be close, in part due to a 50-50 crowd split.
Result: 40-31 loss (4-5)
Week 10 vs. Seahawks
Seattle may not have Sam Darnold in this matchup, and Drew Lock is banged up at practice this week. Plus, if anyone knows how to attack Mike Macdonald's defense, it's Kubiak. In what will be a master vs. apprentice matchup of sorts, the pupil defeats the teacher at home in Las Vegas.
Result: 28-26 win (5-5)
Week 11 @ Broncos
Winning in Denver is never easy, even if Kubiak spent much of his upbringing there. The Broncos' offense does not scare me, even with the Raiders' defensive struggles, but I think a road matchup in November in Colorado could be bad news for Kirk Cousins, especially against a lethal Denver front.
Result: 28-21 loss (5-6)
Week 12 @ Browns
Cleveland is a pretender if I've ever seen one. Even though the game will surely be played in poor conditions with December just around the corner, the Raiders should come out on top in this one just before the bye. And even though this will be their second straight road trip, I think they will win handily.
Result: 34-21 win (6-6)
Week 14 vs. Chargers
Until something changes with the Chargers, I don't think they'll beat anyone. Justin Herbert is a shell of himself, Jim Harbaugh is completely lost, and it's likely they have sold off tons of their talent at the deadline, and guys like Khalil Mack won't be on the team when Los Angeles comes to Las Vegas.
Result: 34-14 win (7-6)
Week 15 vs. Broncos
Playing the Broncos at home is a different story. And after a few games against the Vance Joseph coaching tree, I'd bet Kubiak has a better plan this time around. But Denver is still very good, and while it'll be close, Sean Payton's team just knows how to win in bizarre ways.
Result: 27-24 loss (7-7)
Week 16 vs. Titans
Tennessee certainly has the ability to play up to the level of their opponents. But they already traded Jeffery Simmons, who was a key factor in that, and the Titans may be completely out of the running by the time this game rolls around. The Raiders should get back on track with a convincing win.
Result: 35-17 win (8-7)
Week 17 @ Cardinals
Minshew Mania will probably be dead at this point, and Las Vegas will see Carson Beck in Week 17. It remains to be seen how he'll play, but either way, this Cardinals team is better than most people think. Arizona is putrid at home, so the Raiders escape to keep their postseason hopes alive.
Result: 30-27 win (9-7)
Week 18 @ Chiefs
To me, the Broncos are the best team in the division, not the Chiefs. So, Kansas City will probably be playing for seeding here, and they certainly won't want Las Vegas in the playoffs. In a gotta-have-it game, Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes have the edge. Especially at Arrowhead.
But it comes down to the wire and will be absolutely heartbreaking.
Result: 31-30 loss (9-8)
