Although this is a young Las Vegas Raiders team taking the field early in the 2026 NFL season, not everyone in the rookie class is contributing so far. Fernando Mendoza hasn't even played yet, Keyron Crawford is on IR, Dalton Johnson has been inactive, and Brandon Cleveland is on the practice squad.
As for the rest of the first-year Raiders, their roles have been expectedly mixed. But a handful of guys are starting to separate themselves as players who can't be kept off the field, which is amazing to see so early in their careers. This is what growth and development look like for a young roster and staff.
To keep up with our weekly report cards for the players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, we will once again assign grades for how each Las Vegas rookie fared in the Week 3 comeback win over the New Orleans Saints, and we will update the GPAs, so to speak, of the rooks through three or so games.

Keyron Crawford

Trey Zuhn III
Grade: C+
Zuhn III got five inline snaps on offense in jumbo packages, two on the left side and three on the right. He had three solid reps, one that was iffy and another that he got beat on. Zuhn III fell a bit off balance finishing blocks twice as well.
But overall, he looked comfortable and like he belonged. No big miscues, and good on special teams.

Jermod McCoy
Grade: C
McCoy did not play on defense, as Zeke Masses has completely taken over the starting role, even with Darien Porter back. McCoy had a nice rep blocking the gunner and didn't make any mistakes on kickoff coverage, so he gets a passing and average "C."
Season GPA: 1.5
Mike Washington Jr.
Grade: A
Washington Jr. made the most of his 11 snaps, taking five carries for 54 yards, a staggering 10.8 yards per rush. On one of those runs, he patiently waited for a block and found some green grass, darting 36 yards for a touchdown that completely flipped the momentum. He needs more reps.

Dalton Johnson

Zeke Masses
Grade: A-
Masses had a lot of good and some bad vs. Chris Olave, who is one of the NFL's premier receivers. He gave up four catches for 51 yards, but only 2 yards after the catch, so he was sticky. Masses did force three incompletions, one of which was an interception, so that was tremendous. He's a young star.
Season GPA: 3.67
Malik Benson
Grade: C
Benson had a 13-yard punt return and ran three routes, two of which looked like clearouts in which he successfully occupied the safety. The third was a target, and he got a solid release but couldn't fight through the physicality to stay upfield and make a play on a ball that ended up looking overthrown.

Brandon Cleveland
