With a 2-0 record early in the 2026 NFL season, there is plenty to celebrate for the Las Vegas Raiders and very little reason to be focusing on anything other than an upcoming Week 3 road bout against the New Orleans Saints.
But the Silver and Black still have resources allocated toward scouting college football and preparing for the 2027 NFL Draft, so we do too. And even if the Raiders look to be ahead of schedule in the early stages of their rebuild, it never hurts to be prepared for what or who may come in the future.
So, as we've done every week, let's highlight some collegiate stars at key positions of need for Las Vegas who balled out in Week 3 of the calendar. And again, we won't focus on the big stars every time, and this list only includes 2027 draft-eligible prospects.
5 Week 3 college football studs for the Raiders to monitor
Justin Bowick, WR, Oklahoma State
Bowick built off a 5-catch, 81-yard performance against Oregon last week and lit up Murray State, catching 9 passes for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns. At 6-foot-5 and 209 pounds, Bowick is also a great run-blocker and can occasionally line up in the slot. He doesn't catch deep balls, but Bowick can catch passes in the intermediate area of the field and churn out yards. He has a sure set of hands, with zero drops this year, and has forced three missed tackles while racking up 128 yards after catch.
Will Echoles, DT, Ole Miss
Echoles was flat-out dominant against LSU on Saturday evening. As a pass-rusher, he notched seven pressures and a sack, and as a run defender, he made five total tackles, including four solo and three for a loss with one stop. His versatility is something to marvel at, as he can play in the A and B gaps, over the tackle, or on the edge at times. At 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, Echoles is a Day 1 prospect.
Duce Robinson, WR, Florida State
Robinson seems like a boom-or-bust prospect at this point, but he boomed on Saturday against Alabama. After catching just five passes for 75 yards in his first two games, Robinson hauled in six grabs for 135 yards and a touchdown against the Crimson Tide. He stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 230 pounds, and Robinson has inside-outside versatility. Robinson also finally showed contested-catch ability in Week 3, so the hope is that he keeps growing there and improving as a run-blocker.
Sammy Omosigho, LB, UCLA
Omosigho has been tremendous this year, but he was phenomenal against Purdue last weekend. Not only did he rack up 12 tackles, 11 of which were solo, but he notched 2.0 sacks and two tackles for loss while also getting five pressures and making six run stops. In 24 coverage snaps, Omosigho was targeted just once and gave up a four-yard reception. At 6-foot-2 and 239 pounds, with versatility, a diverse skill set and great production, Omosigho may not be an under-the-radar gem for very long.
Kaleb Beasley, DB, Louisville
Louisville upset No. 19 SMU on Saturday, and Beasley played a big role in that. He had 10 total tackles, including four solo and 0.5 for a loss, and snagged two interceptions in the ballgame, including the clincher. On six targets, Beasley relinquished just three catches for 25 yards as well. He is a solid size for a defensive back at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, and Beasley can line up at free safety, in the box or at nickel, and even occasionally on the edge. He impressed in many ways this week.
