Oakland Raiders pass rusher Khalil Mack earned the 13th ranking on the NFL Network’s annual Top 100 list.

Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack has been consistently coming inside of the Top 10 in the NFL Top 100 rankings that NFL outlets come out with each offseason, but the NFL Network’s annual Top 100 has the dominant pass rusher lower than expected. Placing Mack outside of the Top 10 on their list of the top players from the 2015 season.

Mack was ranked 13th by the NFL, a ranking that is a big jump from 49th in 2014, but is still lower than one would expect with Mack being currently hyped as one of the best defensive players in the game.

Former Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer came in ahead of Mack at #12 with Josh Norman coming in at #11. Mack did earn a higher ranking than Super Bowl MVP Von Miller for comparison to where the Raiders defensive star ranked in terms of the league’s elite pass rushers.

Mack’s status in the league is cemented as one of the best players money can buy, but it still would have been nice to see the Raiders star recognized in the Top 10 of this year’s NFL 100. It looks like Mack is on the path to making that happen sooner rather than later as the NFL’s 13th best player in the minds of the NFL Network is on the path to being a superstar. Something the Raiders hope includes guiding Oakland to a Super Bowl in the near future.
