#42 New York Giants: Tre Mason, RB Aub

Rory’s Take: The Giants are in desperate need of a solid running game. With Eli having so many interceptions it would behoove them to load up the backfield and with Mason’s SEC championship performance he is shooting up boards.

Chase’s Take: New York desperately needs to improve upon Peyton Hillis at running back if they are ever going to get back to where they were when they won the Super Bowl just a couple of seasons ago. Tre Mason’s performance against Florida State shows that even against elite defenders he can be a gamebreaker. Carlos Hyde and Mason will likely be the top running backs taken in this draft, but I think Mason would be the best bet to restore the Giants once proud run game right away.
