Sign two dynamic edge rushers

Adding two proven defensive ends in free agency would allow the Raiders to be more flexible in there plans with Lamaar Houston and their draft strategy.

Jared Allen should most definitely be on the Raiders radar as he is the most consistent pass rusher in free agency as he has posted double digit sacks in each of the past seven seasons.

Another name that comes up that could be added for a bargain value is Michael Bennett. People might look at his 8 sack total for 2013 and think that the number is a bit under whelming for a player who you want as an elite pass rusher.

But you have to take into account the fact he was only on the field for less than 60% of the Seahawks defensive snaps this season and you will get the real picture of this young man’s potential.

This would allow the Raiders to slide Houston to a more natural DT position and not have to spend an early draft pick on a defensive end who may or may not be a bust.
