#8 Minnesota Vikings: Johnny Manziel, QB TAMU
Rory’s Take: Rick Speilman has cited his lack of a successful quarterback as an issue for him and I am convinced they take a quarterback and likely trade up. In this case the best quarterback available is Manziel and that is the direction they go. The NFC North has a significant lack of defense and the playing style of Manziel will have older fans thinking of Tarkantan.
Chase’s Take: I can’t see Manziel slipping to eight, and I definitely can’t see him slipping past Cleveland and Oakland. Minnesota wishes, and if there are enough concerns about Manziel’s character and physical abilities at the next level it may happen, but for now I think that Johnny Football is a Top 5 talent.
