Fitzpatrick Shows How Bad Schaub is

Seeing journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick do well with the same team Matt Schaub had last year is sickening. It means that Schaub is the reason the Texans were 2-14 last year and the Raiders gave him $8 million to rush Carr to start. Fitzpatrick only threw for 139 yards yesterday but was very efficient and had two touchdowns with no interceptions.

As average as Fitzpatrick is, he was the difference between the Texans beating Raiders this year vs losing to them last year. As talented as this Houston Texans team is, it doesn’t take much of a quarterback for them to win this year. That’s really not a good look for McKenzie, who already missed on Matt Flynn the year before to the tune of $6 million.

Plus he thought Schaub was his guy and he could a get a quarterback late in the draft to groom under Schaub.
