The Oakland Raiders welcomed Kevin Durant to Oakland as they joined in on the excitement of KD coming to the Golden State Warriors.

Kevin Durant is officially headed to the Bay Area as the newest member of the Golden State Warriors in a blockbuster free agency move that has rocked the sports world on the Fourth of July. Including the Oakland Raiders, who are naturally excited that KD is coming to their city to continue to make the Warriors the hottest ticket in sports.

Several Oakland Raiders players welcomed Durant to Oakland, paying notice to the NBA superstar deciding to make the move to the Bay. Joining in on the excitement in the city despite the Warriors loss in the NBA Finals to land a player that could make the team even better than their 73 win squad last season.

It is exciting that Durant is headed to Oakland at a time where the Bay Area is becoming a hub of the sports scene with the Raiders finally matching the height of the rest of the teams in the region. Hopefully the Raiders can match the buzz that Durant has created by returning to the playoffs and cap off what has been one of the most successful periods in the history of Bay Area sports.
