X,Y,Z (The starting wideouts)

The wide receiver group will have a completely different look this season, as the two-headed monster of Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree was cut in half this offseason. The Raiders released Crabtree, who signed with the Baltimore Ravens, and replaced him with former Green Bay Packers wideout Jordy Nelson.

Head coach Jon Gruden was not finished with the position when the Raiders went into the 2018 NFL Draft, and swung a deal with Pittsburgh for a third standout wide receiver. The Raiders traded a third round pick for Martavis Bryant, who was rumored to be getting suspended last month, but looks like he is clear to participate in 2018.

With Cooper, Nelson, and Bryant at the top of the wide receiver depth chart, the three players are going to be mixed and matched this season. Each of them has a certain skill set, and with the ability to play on the outside, or the slot, the X,Y, and Z position is not set in stone heading into training camp.
