Can Derek Carr stay healthy?

During the 2016 NFL season, Derek Carr looked to be headed towards a possible NFL Most Valuable Player award. He was leading the Raiders to double-digit wins, and was showing the kind of late game heroics that can make a player a legend in the league.

However, he broke his leg on Christmas Eve against the Indianapolis Colts, and the Raiders hopes for a serious Super Bowl run were dashed. Carr was ready to go for the start of the 2017 season, but a broken back against the Denver Broncos early in the season really derailed his campaign, and he had to battle pain all season long.

Heading into 2018, Carr looks really good, and with an incredible offensive line in front of him, the hope is he can put in a full 16-game slate. He has some of the best weapons he has had in his career, and solid coaches for once, but if he cannot stay healthy, this offense is going to struggle big time.
