Oakland Raiders: 11 non-rookies who need to be a part of the rebuild

The Oakland Raiders are in full rebuild mode, but here are ten current veterans on the roster that need to be a part of the roster in 2019 and beyond.

The Oakland Raiders are one of the worst teams in football when it comes to their record, as they have tried to win games after trading away their best player in the offseason. Khalil Mack was supposed to be a cornerstone of this franchise as they made their move to Las Vegas, but instead, he is making the Chicago Bears a Super Bowl contender.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Raiders added some very talented players, including their starting defensive tackles, their left tackle, and a solid edge rusher. While those rookies figure to be with the team the next few seasons at least, there are also some veterans on this roster that need to be there when this team turns the corner.

Starting out at 2-9 was nobody’s expectation, but it appears head coach Jon Gruden has a plan in place, so we will have to wait and see what this team will looking like next season and beyond. For now, the rookies are going to get a chance to gain experience, and some older players are going to have an opportunity to solidify their roster spot moving forward.

Here are eleven veterans on the roster that need to be on the team in 2019 and beyond.
