player. 28. . Safety. Washington. Taylor Rapp. 35

Heading back to Washington for our next pick, the Raiders have a serious need at safety that needs to be addressed during the 2019 NFL Draft. There are a handful of prospects who are worthy of a first, or second round selection, and Taylor Rapp from Washington is definitely one of them.

A bruising safety during his time with the Huskies, Rapp is a guy who could come in and start right away alongside Karl Joseph in this Raiders secondary in 2019. He has the ability to disrupt anything an offense tries to do, and while his a sure tackler, he is also tremendous is coverage.

Erik Harris stepped up big time in 2018, and will be a guy to provide depth at the position moving forward. All of a sudden, the Raiders defensive backfield is turning into a strength, and adding these two players from Washington would go a long way in making sure they continue to trend in the right direction.
