Oakland Raiders: Four edge rushers to target with No. 4 overall pick
By Brad Weiss
Clelin Ferrell, Clemson
Another elite edge rusher coming out this season is Clelin Ferrell, who helped the Clemson Tigers to two national titles during his time playing for Dabo Swinney. Ferrell showed his dominance on the biggest stage a couple of months back, manhandling Jonah Williams from Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
Williams is considered the top offensive lineman in this draft class, and Ferrell performance against him, while not surprising, was a bit of shock. He has been an anchor along one of the better defensive lines in college football history the past few seasons, and should be available when the Raiders pick at No. 4 overall.
Ferrell is a guy who has been mocked all over the first round, but he has consistently been placed in the top-10. With Oakland, he could slide right into the starting lineup opposite Arden Key, who will be entering his second season with the Raiders, and has the makings of someone who could be a double-digit sack guy at the NFL level.
