D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss

One of my favorite prospects in this draft class is D.K. Metcalf, an absolute freak of a talent for the Ole Miss Rebels. Metcalf saw his final season at the school end with a neck injury, but he is healthy now, and should be one of the first wideouts off the boards in this April’s 2019 NFL Draft.

Metcalf has dealt with his fair share of injuries during his time at Ole Miss, including a broken foot suffered during his first year on campus. Still, he has and incredible burst, and is a dominant presence on the offensive side of the ball, whether he is catching the ball, or blocking.

The 21-year old Metcalf is a guy who has No. 1 wideout potential written all over him, and it is possible that he is gone by the time the Raiders pick at No. 24 overall in the first round. He has good acceleration, is an incredible athlete, and on the Raiders, could be a guy who goes for over 1,000 yards as a rookie.
