Shareef Miller was someone who wasn’t even on my radar. I was watching tape of Amani Oruwariye, and out of nowhere, I saw this young player make plays all over the field. The guy is a big physical player.

Although he only weighs 254 pounds, according to his combine numbers, he looks like he’s 280 pounds. For the Raiders, Paul Guenther needs a guy who can play multiple spots, I think Miller can be the guy.

Last year, Miller played primarily on the line of scrimmage as a 4-3 defensive end, but he did line up as an outside linebacker in the 4-3 defense as well. That’s much different than someone like Josh Allen, who was a full-time 3-4 outside linebacker.

Miller can come in and learn from Vontaze Burfict, as he is a very similar player to Burfict. For Penn State, Miller had 14 sacks, 18 quarterback hits, and 76 quarterback hurries over the last three years.
