Lester Cotton Sr. is one of those physical players that every team needs. He is a tone-setter, and although he was one of the few Alabama player’s who didn’t get invited to the combine, he will be a starter in the NFL for someone.

The Raiders have a need at left guard, and even if they draft someone like Isaiah Prince, they still need a backup guard and maybe even a cheaper option in one to three years for Gabe Jackson.

Lester Cotton has played in many big games for the Crimson Tide, and he has been super reliable. Over his past 4 years for the Crimson Tide, Cotton has allowed only 1 sack. Beau Benzchawel, who is one of the top guards this year, has allowed 16.

Michael Dieter, another top guard, has allowed 8 sacks, as well as 18 penalties. Even Chris Lindstrom, the consensus number one offensive guard, has given up 7 sacks. Cotton would be a steal this late in the draft.
