Oakland Raiders 7-round 2019 NFL mock draft 6.0
By Sanjit T.
With our last 7-round mock draft, the Oakland Raiders took Alabama running back Josh Jacobs in the first round, but I don’t think he is going to be there this time around. So instead, the Raiders will take a tight end and wait to fill the void until pick 106, when they pick Darrell Henderson from Memphis.
Memphis running back Darrell Henderson ran for over 1,900 yards and 22 touchdowns last year, showing a tremendous awareness on the field. He averaged a ridiculous 8.9 yards per carry in 2018 as well.
Walter Football has him ranked as the 15th best back in the country, but his tape says otherwise. He has very quick feet and great vision. He could start Day 1 for the Raiders, who don’t really have a lead back. Sure, they have added Isaiah Crowell, and re-signed Jalen Richard, but Henderson is the kind of feature back this team is lacking.
