Jared Cook

Jared Cook led the Raiders in receiving yards over the past two seasons, serving as a security blanket for quarterback Derek Carr when the receiving corps we so inconsistent. With Oakland, Cook revitalized his NFL career, showing the kind of talent everyone knew he had, and making it to his first Pro Bowl.

Now, as he enters his age-32 season, he is coming off a season that saw him set a career-high with 68 receptions and six touchdowns, proving to be the only constant in the passing game for Carr in 2018. He is joining a very strong New Orleans Saints team for the 2019 campaign, and you can be sure Drew Brees is going to find ways to capitalize on his athleticism, and big play ability.

When you look at the crop of players the Raiders lost against the crop they brought in, there is no comparison that this is a much better roster than last season. Cook will certainly be missed because he developed such a rapport with Derek Carr, and put up big numbers in Oakland, which led to his big contract with the Saints.
