Looking Ahead

The Raiders technically play at home against the Green Bay Packers next Thursday night which looks to be a good game since historically, the third preseason game is when the starters will play. That game is going to be played in Canada at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Seeing how well the first-team defense played against a rookie quarterback, I want to see them take on one of the best in NFL history in Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is one of the best at extending the play, which will help the Raiders gauge where Abram and Ferrell are at in their development.

The rookies are developing at a solid pace and having a player like Joyner will help change the culture of this defense. Arden Key and Maurice Hurst played well on Thursday, bolstering an improved defensive line, while the offensive line stepped up without Gabe Jackson in the starting lineup.
