Stock Up: Nathan Peterman

Nathan Peterman has extremely improved over his four games of live action. In the beginning of preseason play, it looked as if he was slated to be the No.3 quarterback, but there was no guarantee that the Raiders would keep three on the roster.

Now, after weeks of training camp and four preseason games, Peterman has done a good enough job to place himself into consideration for the backup duties. He finished last night’s game 20/27 with 158-yards passing and eight rushing yards.

His stock has definitely sky rocketed over the last few weeks and Gruden loves how he can extend plays with his legs. Gruden isn’t releasing any information on who holds the backup job, however, he’s made it perfectly clear that he believes in Peterman as he very well could be the guy.
